Our Precious Little Joey
Joey we miss you baby,
You brought us so much joy,
Our hearts ache for you,
Such a special little boy.
When you were born,
Of you we were so proud,
Tiny little bundle of love,
Sent from heaven on a cloud.
Smiles and giggles were frequent,
Happiness seemed to abound,
Where ever you happen to be,
Love was felt all around.
Then sickness became your pal,
Never leaving from your side,
But you were a champion through it all,
Now an angel in heaven you reside.
We know you look down upon us,
And don't want us to be sad,
For you are no longer sick and hurt,
Yes baby for that we are glad.
We know the other angels love you,
They hold you close and give you love,
But honey we miss you so much,
We send hugs and kisses to you above.
Little brother Clayton is still defying the odds,
We have had the blessings of two sons,
Both of you picked and sent from the heavens,
You were each special children blessed by God.
Joey we hold you in our hearts,
That is the place you will always be,
One day we will see you again son,
In heaven we will reunite as family,
Until that day comes for us to greet you,
Play with your heavenly toys in glee,
As you fly by the gates of heaven,
Keep watch for one day us you'll see.
