Shannon is 4 yrs. into remission, graduated sum cum laude in May from NCSU, is working hard at NCSU Vet School, became engaged in August, sings at church & is an inspiration to so many.

"Perspectives" , The NCSU magazine of agriculture & life sciences, Fall 2006 did a noteworthy/alumni update article on Shannon & Shadrach! It is called, "Incredible journey, incredible team" on page 32 & 33. Here is the link.

I have been told by many that this article has inspired them to continue their own fight.
